Trim your wick — Before each light, trim your wick to 1/4” by pinching it off or using a wick trimmer. This prevents extra soot from being released in the air, ensures your flame isn’t too big, help prevent “popping” (a potential fire hazard) and increases the lifespan of your candle. When tested in our studio, our candles lasted an extra 15 hours of burn time when trimming the wick before each burn vs. not trimming the wick.
